Want a portrait of your dog worth hanging on the wall?

Attention Suffield & Farmington Valley DOG owners

On Sunday, September 27, I'm photographing pets at the Gazebo on the Green in Suffield. Your $75 donation to the Jimmy Fund through the Suffield PMC Kids Ride covers your session — and comes right back to you as a $75 print credit.

CT Pet Photographer

Four thousand photos of your dog. Not one you'd frame.

❌ Is every photo of your dog a blurry phone shot from above, mid-zoomie, with the recycling bin in the background?
❌ Has your dog's muzzle gone gray while you kept telling yourself you'd get "real" photos taken someday?
❌Have you looked at a pet-store mini-session and thought, that's not really him?
❌ Do you want something on the wall that looks like your dog on his best day — not a stock photo of his breed?

The Problem

The truth is, dogs don't wait for someday. The photos you have now are the photos you'll have.

You deserve a portrait artist who works at your dog's pace, in beautiful light, and shows you the finished piece before you decide what comes home.

A fine art pet portrait, funded by a gift.

✅ Twenty relaxed minutes with your pet, at their pace — treats, toys, patience, no stiff posing.

âś… A private reveal a few days later where you see your images fully edited, shown on your own walls.

âś… Your $75 Suffield PMC Kids Ride donation already waiting as a credit toward whatever you choose.

✅Artwork you'll look at every day for the next twenty years — not a download link you'll forget.

The solution

Hi, I'm Rob Faber. I run a fine art portrait studio in Suffield, CT, and my friend Chris Nikolis organizes the  Suffield PMC Kids Ride each year  to raise money for cancer research. through the Jimmy Fund.  I can't ride across Massachusetts in a weekend. But I can spend a Sunday on the Suffield green making portraits — and route every session fee to the Jimmy Fund.

Here's how I'll help you:

A portrait of your dog isn't a nice-to-have. It's the one photo you'll wish you had. Let's make sure it exists.

Your session costs nothing

Why this session

Six reasons families book this day

The $75 you donate to the Jimmy Fund via the Suffield PMC Kids Ride comes back to you as a $75 print credit. You're funding cancer research, not a session fee.

Your dog will actually cooperate

I work at their pace with high-value treats and their own favorite toy. The old golden on the flyer wasn't posed — he just settled in.

No 200-image gallery link. A private reveal where the best images are edited, finished, and shown on your wall.

You see before you choose

Only twenty minutes

It's an investment in art, not a photo

The money does real good

No 200-image gallery link. A private reveal where the best images are edited, finished, and shown on your wall.

Fine art prints and canvases sized for the room they'll live in. The kind of piece that outlasts the couch beneath it.

Every one of the twelve sessions sends $75 to the Suffield PMC Kids Ride in support of the Jimmy Fund.

1. Reserve your session

The Portrait to Wall Plan

The process

Pick your half-hour slot and make your $75 donation to the PMC. That's it — you're booked.
2. Enjoy the shoot

Bring the treats, the toy, and the dog. Twenty minutes on the Suffield green in soft autumn light. I'll guide everything.

3. Choose the Art Work
At your private reveal, see the finished images on your own walls and pick what comes home — with your $75 credit already applied.

  • A 20-minute outdoor session: at the Gazebo on the Green, one of the prettiest spots in Suffield, with room to move and no studio nerves.
  • Pet-first direction: I read your dog's energy and adjust — sit, lie, run, or hold the toy. No stiff poses.
  • A pre-session prep guide: what to feed, when to walk, when to groom, what to bring — so the day goes smoothly.
  • Professional editing of every reveal image: color, light, and detail finished to fine art standards, not a filter.
  • A private reveal appointment: in person or by video call, a few days after the session, with both decision-makers welcome.
  • Room mock-ups: send a photo of your wall and see the canvas hanging there before you decide on size.
  • $75 print credit: your Jimmy Fund donation, returned to you in full toward any artwork.
  • A donation receipt: your $75 goes to the Suffield PMC Kids Ride in support of the Jimmy Fund.

The session doesn't cost you anything.

You never buy an image you haven't seen.

Twelve sessions is the whole day.

The $75 is a donation to the Jimmy Fund through the Suffield PMC Kids Ride, and every dollar of it comes back as credit toward your artwork.

Everything at the reveal is edited and finished first. You choose from the real thing, not a proof.

10am to 4pm , one sesion every half hour.
When they're gone, they're gone.

They won't be here forever

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the $75 a session fee or a donation?

No. There's no minimum. Most families choose at least a print or two, and many choose a canvas, but the decision is entirely yours — and you'll be looking at finished images when you make it.

Do I have to buy anything at the reveal?

Digital images start at $75 each. Fine art 8x10 prints are $150. Large canvases are priced by size and run into the thousands.
Your $75 credit applies to any of it.

What does the artwork cost?

Yes. Twenty minutes is short on purpose, and I work at your dog's pace. Older dogs get a comfortable spot and no demands. Puppies get movement. Nervous dogs get space and time. Bring their favorite toy and the good treats.

My dog is old, anxious, or wild. Will this work?

Absolutely — the green is quiet in the morning, and a carrier-to-lap session works well. Message me when you book so I can plan the spot.

Can cats or other pets come?

No. I know that some of the best frames are the family dog with the people who love him, but those are reserved for full family sessions.

Can the family be in the photos?

I'll contact everyone booked by Saturday evening with a rain plan. Your donation to the PMC stands either way and your credit carries to the rescheduled date.

What if it rains?

"Rob is an amazing photographer"

Rob is an amazing photographer, both technically and creatively. He knows how to make you comfortable during the shoot, and to bring out your own unique personality. Not only did he have so many of his own incredible ideas for the shoot, but he was also more than willing to collaborate for my vision as well. A top-notch experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.
